Our Commitment to Keeping Children Safe
At Balanced Bubs, the safety and wellbeing of children is our highest priority. We are fully committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child is respected, heard, and protected.
What This Means in Practice
We adhere strictly to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and all relevant legislation.
Laura Pitt, as the sole facilitator, holds a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and completes ongoing professional development in child protection and trauma-informed care.
We maintain clear policies and procedures to identify and respond to any concerns of harm, abuse, or neglect.
We foster a culture of openness and respect, encouraging children and families to speak up.
Our programs are designed with trauma-awareness and cultural safety at the core.
How We Protect Children
Comprehensive child safety policies and procedures that meet legal and ethical standards.
Safe recruitment and ongoing screening practices.
Continuous training in child protection, trauma-informed approaches, and cultural safety.
Clear reporting and response protocols if any concerns arise.
Partnership and transparency with families and organisations.
Your Role and How to Raise Concerns
We encourage families and participants to share any concerns or questions they have about child safety. Your voice is vital to ensuring our space remains safe and nurturing.
